Lani Imre

Such amazing talent, I fell in love with "Lilly"(the first painting) in Dec '08 while visiting the 111 Minna Gallery in SF. Lani gives these paintings a soul, and it's clearly seen in the eyes of her subjects. I can't even begin to comprehend how one can capture such beauty and give it such vibrant life. Everything went silent as I let Lilly look right through me in a busy gallery showing.
